Wordle does not reset at one moment for everyone. The daily puzzle changes at midnight in your own time zone. In India that means the new puzzle appears at 12:00 AM IST, so Indian players are usually the first in a large audience to see each day's word, several hours before the United States.
The short answer
- India (IST, UTC+5:30): a new puzzle at 12:00 AM, every day. India does not use daylight saving time, so this never shifts.
- The puzzle number is the same everywhere. Everyone who plays on the same calendar date gets the same word and the same number, wherever they are.
- If your phone's date is wrong, your puzzle can be wrong too. Check that your phone uses the automatic network time.
