Connections Unlimited: A Three-Round Practice Plan
Wordly team · Roghan Games · November 4, 2026
Round one: name each group before guessing
Try to say the rule out loud in a few words. If you can only say that the words feel related, look for a clearer rule. After each correct guess, compare your rule with the category the game reveals.
Round two: use one hint deliberately
The first hint highlights two words from an unsolved group. Before using another hint, name two ways those words could be related and test each against the remaining board. A second hint can narrow the same group if it is still unsolved.
Round three: review the closest miss
When you finish, recall a guess that was one away. Identify the extra word and the category it actually belonged to. Use the unlimited mode to repeat the drill on a fresh board, and judge progress by how often you can explain the group before submitting.
